EMKO is a Lithuanian-based furniture design and home-accessory company.

Their roots are set in the ancient Baltic tradition of craftsmanship, at the intersection of three distinct cultural spaces: the Northern Scandinavian, the Western European and the Eastern Russian.

EMKO designs and manufactures for an active, modern, responsible market. Their customers’ base ranges from the dynamic professionals interested in inviting fresh ideas inside their life, making choices outside the box, to the creative artists who wish their workspace to be a reflection of the passion put in their own creations.

The works of Vilma Baltuškienė have vivid motifs of ornamentation as well as optical art. The designer graduated from Kaunas S. Žukas College of Applied Art (now – Kaunas College Justinas Vienožinskis Art Faculty). She has always worked in the field of fine arts including creating theatrical costumes. Since 2014 Vilma is working for ECOLINUM: “As soon as I began to create carpets, I realized that it’s my job. I enjoy experimenting and matching colors. While working on one project I’m already dreaming about the next one – colors, patterns, techniques.”
